About Me

Having graduated with a 2.1 degree in Sports and Exercise science two years ago, I am currently working a nice little dead end job while I try and get the money together to study either teaching or journalism. Would love to work in the industry one day. I owe my gaming interest to the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. At the age of 7, I was obsessed with the heroes in a half shell and when I saw a Turtles game had been released on the NES, the obsession began. If it wasn't for them, I doubt I would have ever even owned a console, let alone still be gaming 17 years later!

With the exception of early Championship Manager games and Dungeon Keeper, I'm a console gamer. Will give any sort of game a try, prefer FPSs and sports games though. All time favourite game series is the Pro Evo soccer series, however the past few have been truely awful, and have lead to me jumping ship to the dreaded FIFA! I'm hopeful that this will be the year Konami turn it around, but then i've been saying that for 3 years now! Other all time favourites include Mario 64, Resident Evil 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, GTA San Andreas, Bioshock and COD4.

Games i'm looking forward to in the next few months are Batman:Arkham Asylum, Ghostbusters (i'm a 360 guy so had to wait!), COD:MW 2, Bioshock 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and the yearly updates for Madden and FIFA.

When not glued to the 360, other interests include sports (playing and coaching), reading and films.
